Bad end. I hate when the author forces the characters to be stupid just to increment the action than is forced to make the villa

The end doesn't make sense. Both the children and the Wright's were smarter than this. I will buy and read the next book, because I am caught in the tale, but these series of mistakes with the children allowing the guy to survive and the soldiers bringing prisoner children to a subway station in the middle of the day were bad narrative.
