Not worth it.

Terrible writing. The story drags out for way too long. It seems to me that the author had a somewhat concise plot in mind, but it wasn't enough to fill a comercial book, therefore he felt the need to add an insane amount of filler details that are not relevant to the story at all - like a student trying to reach the minimum word count in a school assingment. The book is a huge word salad. While reading it, I could only think "Just get to the point already". After reading it all the way through, I feel like a hero that survived the ultimate boredom boss. Also, the attempts at humor are a total fail, like when the author kept bringing up the fact that Danny didn't get why an old woman wanted to get into a mans pants. It's not funny, although Stephen seemed to think it was hilarious, considering the times he brouht that up. To finish this review, I'll say that the book is not scary at all. Maybe it could be somewhat scary for an impressionable teen girl, but surely not for an average reader.
